LIFE IN 3, 2, 1

Here’s an explanation of the Christian faith in 3, 2, 1…

What do you think?

Let’s, perhaps, take it a bit slower. Here are three videos where we explain 3 and 2 and 1 with a bit more detail. Under each video I’ve listed some questions for your consideration. Have a think about each before moving on to the next video

  • What do you think was there “in the beginning”?
  • How do you think our understanding of “the beginning” affects our view of life here and now?
  • The video speaks of the Trinity as “Three Persons united in love”. Does this picture of God challenge the way you normally think about God? How so?
  • Given this picture of God – what do you think God wants from us?

  • Do you think it’s true that our families play a big part in shaping our identity? Why or why not?
  • What do you think about the human family? Do you think we’re in a pit?
  • What do you make of Jesus? Why do you think He came?
  • Does this teaching on “Adam and Christ” help explain why Jesus came?

  • What has been your impression of ‘the Christian life’? Has this video challenged that at all?
  • What have been your experiences with church? The bible? Prayer?
  • How do these things relate to “oneness with Jesus”?
  • What would it look like for you to be one with Jesus? (Think big. Think specifics.)
  • Would you like to receive Jesus for yourself?

Perhaps through these videos you have felt God speaking to you. Maybe you would like to be “in on Jesus”? If so, perhaps you should tell Him! Here’s the sort of thing you might like to pray:

Dear Father, I want in on Jesus. I know that in myself I have no right to your family. I have rejected your love and lived for myself. I don’t want to live that way anymore. Thank You for Jesus. Thank You that He lived the life I should live and died the death I should die. Thank You that He rose again and offers me new life. I want that new life. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. I want to live life with Jesus all my days. In His name I pray, Amen.

If you’ve prayed a prayer like that, please get in touch with us below. And please remember: you can’t do the Christian life by yourself. Being one with Jesus means being united to other Christians too. We’d love to help you find a church where they love Jesus and where they speak of Him from the Bible.
